The Period Front Door Company London is a family run business with over 20 years experience in bespoke joinery for period homes.

All of our doors are handmade in London, and made from the highest grade Accoya timber, which is exceptionally durable and stable, and won’t swell, twist or warp.

At the Period Front Door Company we can create a unique design made to your exact specifications, copying the current design of your front door or creating an exact-match design from an image you supply.

We also offer a range of front doors that complement British architecture throughout the ages, with our Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian ranges.

If you have a Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian or ‘Between the Wars’ home, we can offer you a bespoke range of panelling, glazing, hardware and paint options, to ensure you have the right design for your home. Here is a step-by-step guide to how we do things at the Period Front Door Company:

How we do things…

1 You contact us with a design that you have in mind. It could be a drawing, a photo of a door you have seen, or a cutting from a magazine. We arrange a home visit at a time that is convenient to you to discuss the front door design and options available, taking into account your preferences and the styles that suit your home.

2 We agree on the design and specifications you require and we request a deposit payment. Once we have the deposit we arrange a second home visit to conduct a survey. We measure your property to enable us to get the exact specification required.

3 The job order is sent out to be signed, and once we have received the confirmation your front door goes into production at our purpose built workshops We arrange a fitting date and the front door is installed by our fitting team and signed off
